Heres and idea when your engine is down low on fuel and it begins to mis fire,, you will need some inside while your outside....shack the back of the car to see if it changes the running of the engine..if it dose let it run dry..pull the tank and clean it out...their is something in their that is trying pump through..some one could have put a tampon.. plactic ball your tank... sounds funny but these items will cause problems just like u explaned it..

When tank is below 1/2 full the car is hard to start and when driving it seems to lose power. My check engine light does not come on.

the problem maybe a problem with fuel pickup at 1/2 tank, if the line has blockage, the filter is clocked up, the leveling or device that keeps track of fuel level is defective, there issue with the floater, the part that suppose to float has or full of fuel and when it gets to 1/2 tank, the floater full of fuel and sinks like your out of gas.
i think most likely clogged fuel filter in the fuel tank if your car has this type of system.
if not the fuel filter most of the time its near intake of the injectors, underneath the drivers seat under the car.
or by the inlet and outlet of the fuel tank.

I have accidentally put petrol into my turbo deisel forester, it now has 30 % petrol in the tank, will this cause any damage and will I be ok if I start to run down the fuel and add more deisel ?

Yes, this can damage the engine, do not run the vehicle. You need to drain the tank completely, as well as drain the lines and may even change the fuel filter.

Put new radiator in car, have no heat and car runs hot, still over heatin but fluid level up also battery died to what can I do to solve this headache please help

Common headache ,refill reserve tank and leave cap off ,then restart vehicle with the heat on high and wait until fans come on. You probably just have air in the system which isn't allowing thermostat to open up. Once fans come on you should see coolant level lower and just add additional antifreeze then close cap it shouldn't over heat anymore

2002 isuzu trooper looses power on climbing, not responding to acceleration

Is the transmission dropping down to lower gear when climbing ? (automatic only ) Will it accelerate good to pass on level road?
Proper fuel pressure, and possible exhaust restriction, such as partially plugged/plugged catalytic converter, are 2 things I would check as well. All provided engine is also in good shape to begin with.

I have a Mercedes E 280 W211 (petrol). I have rebuilt the engine and the it was running perfectly but after few hundred kms it started misfiring. I am getting few faults. One is P0016 Others are...

These are cam sensor faults. Thats the reason for the miss fires. I would check the tension on the timing belt. if it came loose this would pop the codes. If it is loose check your timing again. then I would check for loose connections on the cam senosrs. if all this checks out then you probably lost the cam sensor A on bank 1

I have put 8 litres of diesel in my 2005 renault scenic i have topped it up with 25 litres of petrol and run it for about 20 miles so far will this be ok once the the tank is empty

The 8 liters of diesel mixed with the 25 liters will make the vehicle smoke a little but if you continue to dilute the diesel/petrol mixture with petrol as your tank level goes down you should have minimal problems. When the tank gets to half you should refill it with petrol for at least two times. The main two problems I could think of that would cause you any concern would be the fuel filter getting partially plugged and the injectors gumming up. By continuing to dilute the tank with petrol you should be okay because the filter and injectors will clean themselves up while you drive. Just make sure you do not take any short drives. Let the engine warm up to operating temperature until you have ran at least two complete tanks of petrol through it.

When parted up hill the car will not start. There is clicking behind the radio. Once the car is level or going down hill it starts but the clicking still happens for a few minutes and you have to rev the...

of your discription the clicking you can here is a relay and if this coincides with your starting problem i suspect this relay operates the fuel pump which brings us to the second part of the problem how full is your tank as fuel tanks have baffles in them and if your parked up hill it seems likley the petrol wont be getting over the baffles hence no petrol getting to the pump which means the relay would be working over time and thats what you can here hope this helps yates210456
