We just purchased a 1989 Honda Accord LX and there is a lever under the dash just to the left of the steering column. It has a white arrow on it and it pulls striaght out. It dopes not seem to be connected to anything and as soon as you let go ... it just goes back in. What is it for and what does it do?
This is the tilt wheel set lever- when it is pulled out, push it down (see arrow), tilt the wheel to where you want it, and push the lever up to lock it in position- then push back in! You have an adjustable steering column!
Push it in and it might be a key release???? idk all hondas have some kind of weird thing in them....like my civic, it has a barrel key thing under the dash on the side of where the stereo goes on the driver side and i still to this day have no idea what it does, lol.
