Question about 1986 Oldsmobile Ciera
I have replaced the tail light bulbs, replaced the fuse and the fuse still keeps blowing - the instrument panel lights are good too! Is there anything else I need to look for that might be causing this problem?
It sounds like it may be an electrical problem, you ae going to need to follow the wiring harnesses from the tail lites back to the fuse pannel as well as the dash lites if you don't find where it is shorting out. how ever the first place I would look is to see if you have a plug in for towing a trailer and if so I would start there. I would also check the pigtails where the lites plug in to see if they are all rite.
