I have the same issue on a 2003, plus the running lights don't work. Checked all fuses, changed dimmer switch. Still have the problem... :-(

First any loose tire or stroller is to blame ...however from the left rear door to the left rear side of tail light is the wire harness then splits off to each socket ..you test backward until tracking down the main hot red or blue or green wire.
