Question about 1997 Acura CL

Doors wont open from inside car;

Please help me, My 1997 acura cl is giving me a hard time with the doors not opening. I took it to a acura dealer and he told me that it would cost me 160.00 before he can tell me exactly what the problem is(he has to take the doors panels off). The actuator is working OK. He told me that it might be the linkage that is no good or disconected. What do you suggest I do.

I suggest you network & try diffrent auto repais because one tells you onething & another tells you another, i had a problem with my windows & i bought new parts that i was told i needed & in the end i stood with the parts because they waren't even the problem... perhaps its a fuse, ir your wireing is bent or not connected properly...

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THIS YEAR, PROBABLY 6 WKS AGO. WENT TO AN INDEPENDENT SHOP WHO SAID HE COULD FIX IT FOR 65 DOLLARS. HE DID JUST THAT. HAD TO SHOP FOR AT LEAST A MONTH BEFORE FINDING HIM IN LOS ANGELES. I ALSO WENT TO AN AUTO BODY SHOP WHERE THE OWNER SPENT AN HOUR BEFORE GIVING UP.

your heater core is bad, or the little temp control.door is hung open. i would take it to someone familiar with removing dash panels like a radiator shop or a dealer.

My 97 acura cl does not want to turn on due to I left the keys inside the car and towing co open the door for me. Now the security system is on and my key will not start the car. What do I do?

I think there is a little plug on the console by the shifter. Take a key and put it in the slot once you get the plug off. This should unlock the trans/start mode. Your remote should re-set the security also.

Acura Cl 2.3 1998 driver side door won't open inside|outside ....

Litteraly can't open the door because of the latch? Can you feel and agffect of the actuator? Have someone push outward on the rear of the door. and the latch end from inside on level ground so noone gets hurt while trying to unlatch it. push in on the door if yhe out fails. The latch may be hopefully just bound up.. May not be the solution but just trying to help at this point.
