Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
Sounds to me like your thermostat is stuck closed. Cheap easy check is to take out the thermostat, run the engine until it warms up and check your temp readings. If they drop, may be a failed thermostat. To double check yourself. Boil some water and place the thermostat in the pot. Watch the stem valve in the center and see if it opens. If it does then maybe you have to look some other issues such as temperature sending sensor failure or water pump failure...
