Question about 2005 Honda Pilot
The radio was dead this morning. The screen is blank and the red anti-theft light is blinking. Fuse for radio is fine. Fuse #9 (inside passenger door) was blown. This fuse is for lighter. I have replaced fuse 3 times and each time fuse shorts immediately. Lighter is a little beat up from plugging and pulling cell phone charger. The lighter is still attached, but casing dangling out of dash. I don't see any objects in light. Do I need to replace lighter completely? Can I do it, or does a dealer have to look at it now? Any other suggestions to get radio working again. Thanks. (I have the code, once it gets power again and can enter that but am not even getting CODE message on display.) Thanks.
Yes, replacing the #9 fuse in the fuse box under the glove box seemed to do the trick (Front Accessory Socket). Thank you!!
2008 Pilot...radio was dead...radio fuse was fine.
