You might have gotten water under the distributor cap, so remove the distributor cap making sure you remember EXACTLY THE POSTION TO PUT IT BACK ON AT, and turn the cap over, spray it with some WD-40 AND SPRAY THE INSIDE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR WITH IT TOO, then reinstall the part in the same position you took it off from, secure it down, then try to start your car. if that doesn't work, then your car has serious flood issues that damaged the entire electrical system.

As you say it was raining , It would indicate an electrical problem with ignition , check the earth connections and that you have a spark

My car wont start when it rains

well, rain and snow is water, so it could be water is getting into something preventing the car from starting. maybe you have loose wires under your wiper grill at the bottom of your windscreen and the rain is shorting the electrics out, or even your doors could be letting rain inside shorting the electrics as your speakers terminals are not really protected with anything just a plastic clip. and of course electric mirrors if you have them?
common sence says to me you have a leak somewhere by you saying when it rains or snows. check all the roof, sun roof, door paneling, under the bonnet, boot door, all the elctrics you can get access to, and look for wet patches or puddles, if you see any near any buttons, wires etc you can be sure your electrics are shorting out. dont know if it helps but hope its somewhat helpful to you

There HAS to be water getting somewhere!
Have you checked under the hood?
Mainly around the starter, and the alternator, and the battery!

Everytime it rains real hard. car won't start, after 2 days it then starts.. Everything works good..........Then a month later when it rains again, the car won't start for another 2...

Obviously water is the cause. Make sure all hood seals and underbody splash shields are in place, check firewall main connector for security. After it rains (without driving it in rain) check floor mats inside for water. A possible windshield or dash leak is allowing water into electrical area near instrument cluster (windshield may need resealed). Lift hood and look for water on any electrical connections disconnect dry, and seal with tune up grease from parts store.
Good luck

When is raining and i drive it on to the water it stops and dont start. even if starts it the engine doesnt run properly..the next day ..no rain ..the engine work perfectly..

Change your distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires. This should be enough to prevent stalling in the rain.

When these components wear out, the problem is first noted when driving in the rain. If they are not changed, eventually the car will not start, even in good weather.
