Re: how do i dismount my headlights to change the bulbs?
You dont have to remove the headlamp to change the bulb, you should have a cover at the rear of the lamp assembly that turns anti-clockwise, the bulb is behind this cover, before you can remove the bulb you have to take the wiring plug off by pressing the tags on the sides of the plastic plug, then the bulb will be held in by a wire spring clip... hope this helps

Vehicle's that are fitted with two terminal bulb's use two bulbs for dimm and bright. On the vehicle's that use three terminal's one bulb does the work of both. So i dont think it wiil work putting in that type of bulb unless you modify the headlight unit so it can accomidate two headlight bulbs per side.
Looks like you have a faulty socket, remove it and check your contact leads, clean them, or replace socket if necessary, if its a pinch light bulb, socket leads might be worn out causing faulty contact, replace it.
Not a chance. What i have done is take out the inner plastic fender, it is very simple it just has like 4 self locking plastic plugs, and you can reach JUST the turn signal bulb from there, not the other bulbs. That way you dont have to take down the front bumper fascia, and dismount the whole headlight assembly, which can be a pain in the neck.
you do not need to remove the lens assembly , only the bulb is replaced, you may need to loosen the battery if its in the way. if i remember correctly there is a black ring just a quarter turn then bulb pulls out. if no ring its just a quarter turn with the bulb and it out
You have to open the hood and go at it from behind the bulb. look behind the light fixture set up and you will see where the light bulb goes. Simply twist off and pull out. the old light bulb will com out also.
easy cheesy! Ive changed mine twice. The headlights are small bulbs. Make sure you get the right one (hi-beam vs low-beam). Unplug connector at back of bulb / headlamp unit, remove rubber weather seal (pops right ot). The bulb is held in with a small wire clip that is hard to get back on but can be done. Its spring loaded. Drop wire clip, turn bulb assya 1/4 turn, and it comes right out. Remove bulb from holder and replace. Reverse steps and VOILA!
