Question about 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe
Just bought a 2000 Tahoe and changed the oil. Don't have a manual. How do I get the change oil light to go off?
With the ignition on, Motor Not Running, fully depress the accelerator three times within five seconds. Turn off ignition, start car.

How to Reset the CHANGE ENGINE OIL Message
1. With the ignition key in RUN but the engine off,
fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly
three times within five seconds.
2. Turn the key to OFF.
If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes
back on, the engine oil life monitor has not reset.
Repeat the procedure.
