IF YOU HAVE NEW TIMING CHAIN INSTALLED TIMING MARKS 12 OCLOCK POSITION ON CRANKSHAFT SPROCKET AND CAMSHAFT SPROCKET. AND THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP ROTOR POINTING TOWARD 1 FIRING POSITION.STANDING FRONT OR CAR LOOKING AT THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP 1 FIRING POSITION ON CAP SHOULD BETWEEN THE 5 OCLOCK AND 6 OCLOCK POSITION.DO YOU HAVE 350 OLDS ENGINE OR 350 CHEVY ENGINE THERE WILL BE A DIFFERENCE BECAUSE OLDSMOBILE 350 ENGINE 1 FIRING POSITION ON DISTRIBUTOR CAP WOULD BE AT 12 OCLOCK POSITION.ONCE YOU GET ENGINE PISTON AND VALVE TIMING RIGHT YOU HAVE TO USE TIMING LIGHT AND TACHOMETER TO ADJUST THE IGNITION TIMING.

No fire on 69 pontiac firebird 350 bigblock.changed coil and distributar still no fire?

It has power on the big pink wire to the distributor with the key on? Also if it has a tach hooked up next to the pink wire, try unhooking it.
