If you still have your owners manual, it will show you the fuses. Just in case you don't, they are located in the fuse panel under the hood. The AUX outlet fuse is just to the left of the 3rd relay along the top row, the cig fuse is located just below the 3rd relay.

SOURCE: both of my cigarette lighters

if your owners manual does not tell you where the fuse is, take a multi meter, and use the Ohms setting. you can check each fuse, using the little exposed tabs on the back of the fuse. You will find your bad fuse( I do this all the time for people that loose the owners manual) easiest way to find the fuse, that I have found. If you need more help, let me know. hope this helps

2000 Nissan Frontier Cigarette lighter not working while I use tire compresser using,

Tire compressor probably draws too much current for the socket. Are you sure it is a cigarette lighter socket? Some sockets are just to provide accessories 12v. Did a cigarette lighter come with this socket? True cigarette lighter sockets are generally fused at 25 or 30 Amps

Cigarette lighter plug still does not work after changing fuse.

Possibly the wire has come loose. This happens a lot with lighters! Try putting your finger in ( it won't hurt you, and you won't get electrocuted ), and turning the insides in a clock-wise direction . You will feel the whole lighter tighten up. If this doesn't help, turn it in an anti-clockwise direction. This will take the socket out of the car. Check that the two wires on the back of the lighter are firmly connected. Then put the lighter back in, and hopefully it's OK.
