I think you are mean the anti-rattle clips. They go on the anchor plate that holds the pads in place. If you need more information, let me know, I will try to find a diagram for you, or explain the proper position of the clips.

Installing keeper clips on my 1989 jeep cherokee 4x4 front disc brakes. I need to check the positioning.

check that the steering knuckles do not have grooves worn in them from the brake pads.....a common problem they can be welded up to solve the issue instead of replacing the knuckles

My headlights and brake lights dont work on a 1989 Jeep Cherokee...

check the fuses first. If none are blown you have a short somewhere and will need a multimeter to test each of the wires. If there aren't any bad fuses, you should probably take it in, shorts are frustrating and time consuming to locate and also to repair.

I bet you still have air back there. If you didn't bleed the system after the master you need to do that. Bench bleeding a master doesn't always work.Also badly out of adjustment rear brakes can act the same way.

Hi, I had a 88 cherokee, had no 4 wheel drive, the vac. motor u r referring to engages the 4x4. Mine vac motor was replaced, fixed the problem.

check for a wire leading to the front wheels and the rearend if it has a wire u have abs if not u dont
