I was trying to diagnose a bad Driver's side power window (later found a bad fuse, I thought I had checked that already).
When checking for voltage at the switches, somewhere along the way, things stopped working. Now, none of the power windows work from the driver's door - and the key chain remote no longer works!!! Haynes manual mentions a circuit breaker, but I don't know where to look.

solenoid actuator probably dead or has a dead spot. It is a 1991 so 23 years old. Some times you can get these to roll up by giving a tap on the edge of the door near the locking mech with a rubber mallet. Gently tap door while trying to roll up window. It vibrates the dead spot on the solenoid. That will help you get the window up if needed and diagnose a new actuator.
You have two fuse boxes in your car. One in the engine bay and one under the dash on the driver's side of the car.
For the power windows, here are the fuses you should check: 15, 37, 28, 26, 24, 25. Those fuses are all in the engine bay fuse box. #15 is a big fuse, so if you have a volt meter, you can see if there is 12V to body ground on each bolt that holds it in place.
1997 Honda accord nothing on instrument cluster works, only the battery light. Power windows will not work. shift lock solenoid doesn't work.Digital clock does not work. Lights on the console shifter don't light up. Help!
there is no driverside window fuse. The power window system works nsync with each other. If a fuse is out all windows will not work. Have the electrical connector checked on the switches or motor pwr connector. Also inspect the window regualator for damage. Hopefully this helps!!
you most likely have a power/ground/switch issue in the drivers door. the power for the other three doors must first travel through the switches in the driver door before it goes to the passengers. hence the reason why when somebody rolls down a passenger window and you push the up button on the driver door the window stops moving. the wires can break inside the rubber boot in the door jam. you can also have an internal problem with the driver door switch unit. you would need a wiring diagram to diagnose this concern.
