Where's the fuse for your cruise control at ? I have a 02 ford Ecape, & it stopped working

There are a few more thing's involved then just fuse's .
Symptom Chart Condition Possible Sources Action
  • The speed control is inoperative
  • Circuit(s).
  • Brake pedal position (BPP) switch.
  • Clutch pedal position (CPP) switch.
  • Stop lamp switch.
  • Speed control switches.
  • Speed control actuator.
  • Fuse(s).
  • Go To Pinpoint Test -A .
Central junction fuse box , behind left side or right side of the dash panel ! Fuse's are - F2.5 - 5amp , F2.11 - 10amp , F2.24 - 15amp , F2.16 10amp .Do you have steering wheel controls ? These controls go through the clock spring inside the steering column ! They break also , but you mite have some other signs ,like air bag light lit on the dash . Could have bad control servo module . You can go to www.bbbind.com for free wiring diagrams an fuse box lay outs !

The side lights and dash illumination is not working on my Mondeo 2001 1.8LX (Y Reg Petrol")

You might want to check the fuses under the hood. That fuse panel controls the inside panel. Good luck.

Does fuse or relay operate heating/cooling fan BA falcon

normally fuse controlled but remember that inside the heater bopx are 3 resistors that alter fan speed when you change the knob position on the dash. They do burn out and have to be replace to make the fan work

Fan switch on dash doesn't work. No control to the fan speed. This looks like a complete unit along with the slider controls for the heat, air, defrost, etc.

If the switch is bad,it is a seperate piece that unscrews from the control head.
I would check for power at the resistor block first(controls fan speeds) It's in the case ,a four wire connector ,think on this car it's inside ,just right of the transmission tunnel.

I HAVE A 1,9 LITRE CHRYSLER VOYAGER LE PETROL ENGINE. THE FAN FOR COOLING OR HEATING INSIDE THE CAR DOES NOT COME ON. PREVIOUSLY IT WAS CONSTANTLY ON ONLY ON HIGH SPEED AND IT WOULD TURN OFF IF I CHANGED...

Your problem isn't rare; the loss of speeds other than the highest is caused by the failure of a tapped resistor. Selecting the speed chooses the appropriate tap. When the resistor fails, the high speed setting is unaffected since it does not use a tap on the failed resistor.
Sometimes this part is located on the firewall, sometimes close to the fan assembly. It isn't expensive but may be less than fun to replace if it is under the dashboard.

Electronic vent control not working in Volvo S40

Hi,
I think here, by your description, that there might be something that has slipped inside the vent holes from outside. you can try to blow some compressed air through the vent holes at the bottom of the windscreen.
Otherwise you can try to look under the dash, activate the switch and see if you can locate from where the noise is coming and see if you can reach the mechanism that control the vent. Normally it must be moving free. Otherwise your local mechanic should be able to fix that ufor you.
Cheers.
