Inside the engine compartment directly behind the headlight it unscrews and pops out. then put it back in and retighten.

Actually there are two little black tabs on top of each headlight housing and you simply have to pull them up to release the whole headlamp.

Then follow the rest of emissionwiz's solution.

Have your battery tested or first clean the terminals and cables. Check the ground cables, not just the one on the battery but frm engine to body etc etc.

2005 gtp headlights went out fuses ok

Check the wiring harness and connector clips for damage such as any evidence of arcing or heat. If all inspects out well, proceed with replacing the bulbs as outlined in your user manual.

2004 Grand Prix GTP. My headlights won't turn on. We replaced the relay and checked all the fuses (good) and still nothing.

check headlight bulb first/ then the socket if ok check switch then the electrical wiring connections it must be one of those...

2000 Grand Prix GTP supercharger fluctuates when accelerating

There is no wastegate.

Change the spark plugs and pay special attention to the plug on bank 3. Look for physical damage on the electrode...cracked, bent etc.
Use Autolite 605's copper core gapped to .055" and NEVER run less than 92 octane.

How do you replace a headlight switch in a grand prix

how do you replace a headlight switch in a 07 grand prix gtp. head lights do not come on. all other lights work. fuses are good. amd so are the bulbs. was told that the headlights themselves were not getting a charge. and was told that it was the headlight switch.

Open the hood and look where the light is there is a plastic peice on the end of the light twist it and the bulb will come out!!!
