Your "throw out" bearing aka pressure release bearing isn't fully releasing the pressure, try loosening the clutch cable just a bit

700R4 Chevy trany try's to pull in park and pulls in nutural and locks up in reverse

Overdrive clutches are smoked... That will require an overhaul. That's pretty typical for 700R4 and 4L60E, as the internals are nearly identical. Usually caused by a mid adjusted TV cable.

When putting into reverse it has to be in the

This sounds a lot like the bush's in the gear change linkages are either worn out or gone. I have seen this a few times. Ask someone to check to see if the linkage moves when you move it only one place. Do this with the motor off and the hand brake on. Select nutural. Ask a friend to see if the gear selector moves when you select "D" drive. If there is little to no movement, time to start looking at linkage bush's

I have a 1981 Chevy k20 350. I am having problems with not starting let alone cranking over. I have a brand new starter n battery in it now. When I turn the switch over I can hear a clicking sound coming...

The ign switch has a wire that goes to the small post on the starter.. if this wire is not connected the starter will not turn the engine.. likewise.. if your ign switch is not sending a electric to this post same problem.. You might also have a burnt "Fuseable Link".. or a bad ign switch.. yoiu can try jumping across the large battery cable connection and the small starter post.. this will tell you the problem is not in the starter..block the wheels. e brake on and truck in Park or nutural.. another thing there might be a nutural saftey switch if its an automatic.. or a clutch switch if its a manual trans.. I do not think your truck has a starter relay.. do not know what is clicking.. Post a comment here when you find out what is wrong.. it helps everyone..

Pickup starts great, goes into all gears but won't move. It's like it is still in nutural.

Assuming the pickup is an automatic, check the transmission fluid. The #1 cause for transmission slippage is lack of Automatic Transmission Fluid.

If the pickup is a standard shift, the pin that connects the shift to the transmission has likely broken. You would still be able to shift from the inside but the gears won't engage. A bad clutch is also a possibility but you would have noticed a burning smell prior to the clutch giving out.

My 2007 honda cr-v has a bad viabration at about 60-80km . I thought my tyres might have a bulge on them so put a new set on it but the viabration is still in it.The tyre place said the wheels balanced...

First make sure that balancing and alignment have been done properly (for th rear tires as well). That is the most common reason for the problem. If that is not the problem it is usually either a defective CV joint failing at about 40mph, or a problem with the propeller shaft that links transfer case to differential. This last case is common with CR-V. Here a clip showing the problem:

My 1992 grand am se with a quad4 moter wants to stall on my when it`s in drive .But in nutural or park it stays running just fine.

Sounds like the Torque converter clutch is locked up. Unplug the square four pin connector on the transmission. Then let the car cool off and keep playing with it until it unlocks. After that it should be fine. You can leave the plug unhooked or replace the TCC solenoid to fix it.

Problem shifting from 1st gear to 2nd and mechanic statesit sounds like a nutural fire. This just started no problems with transmission before this

check level of transmission oil from what you say i'd think that its friction clutches on the 2 gear that are going down the only thing that you can do is to bring your car to the Service

I have a 1997 toyota rav4 manual 4X4 , Everytime I shift up into 4th gear it does a slight grind but it doesn't do it down shifting.

Sounds like you have a scrinco stuck or worn out and the way you will get away with out grinding till you can get it done is to drive it like the old cars and trucks and that is to double de clutch between 3rd and 4th
all you do is to clutch in pull into nutural clutch out and in again fast and in to 4th gear (simple).

Hydrolic clutch makes grinding noise when in nutural...

It's the throw out bearing. They probably call it a Clutch Release Bearing.

Envision a round large thick tube. On this tube put a bearing at the end of it. Now put a thick metal doughnut on that bearing. The thick metal tube stays stationary, and the metal doughnut spins.
The bearing this 'metal doughnut is riding on, is bad.

Solution? Have this throw-out bearing replaced.
