Call Honda dealer, find out what proof of ownership they need (usually registration and matching DL), then graciously accept the code they give you.

I replaced my 2001 Range Rover battery and my radio stopped working. I have the code but no option to put in the code. Please let me know the steps.

most of radio need time to back to re-program , keep radio On for 40 mint or more this depend on how many time you try before , when it's on don't touch it until screan dislay (0000,) then you can re- prog. some moudle have buttom (prog. or search) after re-prog. most if you keep on for awhile it will come back by it self in programing .

I have a 2005 silverado, if i dissconect the battery, will the factory radio lock up?

Yes so I would make sure you have the code from the factory at hand if you remove the power.

If you dont have it then you need to get it otherwise you will need a new radio face a return to factory cost

I have a p reg vw sharan, the battery was dissconected to take the starter motor off to get it reconditioned, its was 4 days before i got the starter motor back and the battery was dissconected al that...

does it make NO noise at all? no clicking sounds? if not, check all your connections... could be as simple as a ground cable not connected properly. you could also try jumping it. a weak battery could present this way. dash lights and the radio don't take a lot of power, engine start does.

MY CAR REPAIR TIMINBELT DESCONECT THE BATTERY SO

I'm guessing you are trying to say that you repaired the timing belt, had to disconnect the battery, and now your radio no longer works, either it is off or locked and you need the code? Take the radio out of the car, on the top there is a serial #, call up your local mitsu dealership and ask them for the code, give them the serial # and they should be able to look it up for you. If they try to charge you for it, just call a different dealership, its free as long as they don't have to pull the radio out.
