Question about 1986 Honda Prelude
My speedometer works only when it takes a mind too. There is no problem with the mileage indicator or the tach, but the speedometer only works sporadically, sometimes will not work for weeks and then it will start working for a few minutes and quits again. I have replaced the speedometer cable but I still have the same problem. Aside from a new speedometer head....which costs more than the car is worth...is there any other solution?
You can do what i do keep going to wrecking yard and buy one there but i will tell you the truth the speedometer is the problem it is a defect the dealer doesnt reconize this , when it stops working smach the top of it that works for me i think its a lubercation problem my self
