Question about 2002 Ford F350 Super Duty DRW Reg. Cab
I HAVE A 2002 F350 7.3 4X4. WHEN I ALLOW MY TRUCK TO SIT FOR A DAY OR TWO, WHEN I FIRST START MY TRUCK, IT KICKS OVER IDLES FOR A BIT THEN SPUTTERS OFF. IN ORDER TO PREVENT IT FROM SHUTTING OFF, I HAVE TO GIVE IT GAS AND KEEP THE RPMS AT 2000. AFTER THAT THE TRUCK STAYS ON AND EVERYTHING IS FINE. PLEASE I NEED HELP. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY MY TRUCK IS ACTING THE WAY IT IS.....THANKS...
If its cold it will not like to start try plugging it in a hour before you start it. If that dosen't work you could have bad glow plugs. Try turning the key to the on position wait for the glow plug light to go out and then go back to off and try again then start. If not any of that drain the watter from the bowl and put some injector cleaner in the tank and change the fuel filter. You might have air in the fuel system some how. Try bleeding the fuel system
