I have a 1992 Toyota truck 3.0 v6. When accelerating sometimes well most of the time it misses a little and loses speed until I almost floor it then takes off normally. Then I return to Hwy speed and it will do this again. I have replaced the following. Fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, tps sensor, max airflow sensor,ECM,checked all exhaust. My engine light finally came on after two weeks of this but nobody can get any codes off of this truck for some reason the machines say they cannot get connection. I am now lost on this and I love my truck. P.S. I let the truck sit for a week in the cold and it ran great for about 30 minutes and then started this **** again. Please help

Have you changed your oil? Rotella 15W-40. These engines really don't like old oil. It becomes too thick for the injection pump to work correctly. Another possibility is a bad cam sensor on the front of the motor. Most engines call this the crank sensor but on this engine you have to look it up as a cam sensor.

Replacing parts without analysis is just wasting money. You need to take it to a mechanic with the right engine analyzer.

Check the fuel pressure, and then see where youre at and if it is restricted from the pump or filter.
Next, try to see if you can get any codes out of the SUV. CEL can store any issues for quite some time, and it could be the MAF sensor, as that is very common with these.
I would also check into timing, it could be a few teeth off, pumping cylinders with fuel when they should be firing and causing this. And that is not good. At All.

Could be a bad computer not supplying right fuel injector pulses. This happened to my 1990 cadillac deville at about 35 mph, it would buck and miss.
Also, I would flush the coolant system and install new coolant.

You could try checking the EGR valve to see if it is dirty. It may be running badly at high speed also as it's harder to hear misses at high rpms. You should be able to tell by your acceleration and gas mileage also. Timing chain problems sometimes show up like this. Sorry I can't give you anything definitive but hopefully this will help a little. Good luck!

Heater is not works perfectly and missing idle speed

Too long to warm up: Replace the thermostat.

Misfire when warm: Replace plugs and wires.

This should help your issue out greatly.

A FixYa rating would really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
