What are TRIP A and TRIP B in corolla 2005, are these by km or mile. or tell me the odometer of corolla 2005 is by mile or km? thanks

  • Hi, I can help.
  • Trip meters are just that trip meters. Pressing the reset for them does not effect the odometer. Say you want to see how many miles it is to a place of destination from your home and keep track of gas mileage at the same time. You can use trip A for one and Trip B.

  • If you have any comments you can feel free to leave them here and I will respond.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

2005 Buick Park Ave Odometer reads about twice as fast as actual speed. Looking back went from 150K mi to 195K mi in two years. But only drive about 10 mi per week + a couple 180 mi weekend trips. Any...

Did you accidentally push a button the dash to make the car read in metric? That would make sense if things were in kilometers instead of miles. Can't remember exactly how the 2005 model was but there should be buttons on the left side of the dash and one of those would change from miles to km. If your dash isn't like that, let me know and we can figure it out.

I was pushing the buttons looking at how much time till oil change and noticed my speedometer was now showing KM instead of mph? it is in metric or something? can not get it back to MPH and did not get a...

If I'm not mistaking on that model if you hold the trip/reset button while the odometer is on the miles ( not trip a or b) for a few seconds it should go back to mph. Let me know if this helps. Chevy's can be done a couple ways. But I think for yours this is it.

Coming up on 200,000 Km. What service should I

That is about 120, 000 miles, if you have not done already, you should change the timimg belt and while you are doing that it is a good idea to replace the water pump. You could change your transmission oil but not critical.

At what KM/Miles is the right time to change Isuzu Bighorn timing belt

there is no real answer it could last 30,000 more miles or break tomorrow. They are not very hard to change and you would know after you changed it that you would have another 100 000 km of worry free
driving. Better to spend a afternoon changing it than breaking down, stuck on the side of the road ,having to tow the vehicle, days of inconvience instead of hours.

I cant figure out how to change my thermometer back from celcius to fahrenheit

Make sure that the odometer is set to miles and not kilometers. Hold the button down (while in the regular odometer setting, not the "trip odometer" setting) until it changes to miles. The temperature display will automatically change to fahrenheit. We just figured this out today.
