Question about 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan
I have a Motorhome based on the T4 with the 5 cyl petrol engine that will not fire up.
If i put a small amount of petrol down the intake it starts for a few seconds.
I have taken the two pipes that go to the engine but nothing comes out when cranking.
I suspect the fuel pump/filter but do not know where it is located.
It was ok before i left it for a year
Any help much apprecieated
Sounds more like a relay fault check the fuel pump relay numbered 196 i think ot 164 you should hear pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key on if you hear pump running you may have a crank sensor fault
