REPLACE the EGR valve and gasket, stop being cheap. sometimes there are things that cant be fixed. It could have a micro crack in it or a bad spring. Just brake down and replace it. I have been there so many times. You smack your head into the wall for hours on something that you dance around for months. Let me know once you replace it.

Replace the Vacuum Switching Valve for the EGR.
You have looked at all the possibilities except the VSV. This is probably your culprit.

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer and I used a pocketscan (OBD II code reader and the code is P1400). What does this code mean?

This code refers to the Delta Pressure Feedback EGR(DPFE) sensor voltage. The voltage in this sensor changes as it detects a difference in vacuum. Test: Engine running, so be careful and use proper care! Find the EGR valve and disconnect the vacuum line going to the top of the valve. There should be no vacuum there at this time. If there is then check for proper EVR (EGR vacuum regulator) operation and vacuum line routing. These lines could be broken, cracked or plugged. I have run across many EGR passages in the intake manifold that become plugged with carbon and prevent EGR flow, check this by removing the throttle housing that the EGR valve is bolted to and look at the passages, clean if neccessary, reset Check engine light and see if it comes back on after operation. Hope this helps, let me know.

Code p 0470 ford aspire how do i fix this ?

p 0470 is "EGR boost sensor" failure. replacement of the sensor without further diagnosis will most likley end with the check engine light still burning brightly. pull the egr valve off of the intake. the bottom port is exhaust pressure. the top runs through the lower and upper intake to just behind the throttle body. chances are the port through the intake is completely plugged with carbon. split the upper and lower intake and clean the egr passages. a good carb and choke cleaner and a stiff wire will break up most of the carbon.

Engine check light, code 401 low egr vacum egr

The EGR and the lift sensor may look perfect from the outside but the under side of the EGR valve and the EGR passage (small tube) are the REAL WORKING parts.

The carbon inside the EGR passage tube and the underside of the EGR valve must to clean out.

Make sure you has a NEW EGR gasket before you start the job.

It's a 2-3 hours job.

If you do not clean the EGR passage tube the Nox emission will get higher (check you past emission reports).

Egr value, check engine light come on, egr valve has been replaced 2 time and sensor also

The problem with the Warning system for the EGR is it usually blames insufficient flow to the sensors that measure the flow.

What is really happening is the intake manifold is clogging under the airhorn mount. The airhorn has a butterfly flap on it and mounts where the carburetors use to be. The EGR gets its flow from passages beneath the airhorn. You need to clean the passages to the EGR. Then remove the battery cable for 10 minutes to clear the old codes. The check engine code should go away when the manifold is clean.

Check engine light only comes on when I press the gas in my 1991 Toyota Preiva, changed the O2 sensors and it's still on

Do you know what trouble code the Previa is throwing?
You may want to check the little 1/2 inch diameter passage in the throttle body that connects to the EGR valve. If that passage gets clogged (and it usually does), It'll throw a check engine light. I was having a similar problem and found that this passage was completely blocked with carbon deposits. You can clean it out with a small screwdriver and a shopvac.

Service engine light comes on the code is 32 have any idea

DTC code 32 is the EGR valve failure, check the vacuum hose and electrical connection to the EGR. remove the EGR and clean it with carb cleaner. After reinstalling the EGR and if the check engine light still on, you may have to replace the EGR valve. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted. Be glad to help.

94 camry engine light on, code 71, how do i fix it

Go to Autozone and have your current EGR Valve, removed from the car, tested and they will determine if it is defective. They tested 2 for me, and neither was a replace, just a clean and they worked great. If they don't have a brand that suits your wants, just test it, then buy the new somewhere else, no commitment to buy.
The most common problem with these EGR valves is they get plugged up from carbon build up. Best way to test it is with a little hand held vacuum pump. Hook it up to the EGR valve and with the engine running at idle and squeeze the vacc pump handle a couple times to open the EGR valve. That should kill the engine. If it dosent, the EGR valve is probably plugged up. At that point you'll have to take it off and clean the carbon out. Even if you have your mechanic check into it, it shouldnt be that expensive to remove it and clean it out or replace it.

Good Luck and hope this helps: Oh and I think theres two EGR.. check the one on the bottom of the engine to. I am not sure but i think there are two EGR valves on your camery.

Check engine light came on codeP0401

Yes, this is a carbon issue. the EGR valve is very sensitive to carbon deposits. i suggest using pressured air to clean out this throttle body before you purchase another valve. it will keep rejecting the egr if its not cleaned.

Check engine light keeps coming on with code 332 egr code.

The Egr ports are plugged in the intake. Remove the throttle body elbow behind the throttle body, and clean out the carbon. I can walk you through it if you need me too. This is common on the 4.6
