Question about 2003 Chevrolet Venture Passanger
Our ABS Brakes do not work and I would like to fix them before the snow falls. Would it be possible to fix them without the $200 diagnostic tool.
What should I look for in a general inspection?
You probably have corrosion problem in your wiring harness, usually right in behind the connectors. I have had this problem so many times, every time they scanned it it was "oh you need a new wheel bearing." ********! Each and every time it was a corrosion problem.

Check all the speed sensors on your tires, most likely one of the wires will be stretched or broken, if not then you should be able to take to a shop and they can scan it ($30-$60) and tell you which. but you can usually tell with visual inspection.
