Had a hard time starting truck - 96 silverado 5L 2wd - after a cold snap, parked in heated garage for a few days and the starter needed replacing (too much cranky), did that, and it took right off, put some Methanol in the tank ran for an hour no prob. On my way to work this am the check engine light appeared. Still ran fine. I forgot to re-insert the tube into the head cover on the left side (facing engine). Could this have set it off? Do I just need to reset now that I've put it back or will the light clear on it's own?

I have a 1997 Saturn SW2 Wagon with 101,000 miles. In the last couple of weeks it has become very hard to shift the automatic transmission gear shift from Park to Reverse or Park to Drive. A repair shop has told me that the subframe is completely rusted through and that the parts above it have dropped into the frame. What is causing the shift to be hard to move?
