I have a 2004 Chevy Cavalier and the back up lights suddenly stopped working. I checked the fuse and it is fine and working cause back up lights are on same fuse as turn signals and they work. The bulbs...

Hello! If the transmission is a standard there is a "back up switch"with the wire colors Pink and Light Green which closes in reverse and applies battery (12 volts) to the lights...If, however, the car has an automatic transmission there is a switch (park neutral) same wire colors that when placed in reverse applies battery to the lights...Either one of the switches is defective...see photos below...Guru...saailer

2003 Chevy Silverado When I apply the brakes the

I had an issue like this one on a 2007 Colorado. I assume you mean the turn signal indicator inside the truck lights up. It was a bad bulb. think it was the turn signal bulb on the side that is lighting up. As for the gear indication being dim there is more than one bulb that lights them up and one may have blown. I hope this helps.

2004 Chevy Trailblazer Brake Light

I would start by trying another bulb. Even though the brake and tail light share the same bulb they actually are powering different filaments inside of the bulb so you can have a tail light filament that is working fine and illuminating properly but have a burned out brake light element that won't work at all...all inside the same bulb. Not uncommon at all to see this problem and these bulbs are pretty inexpensive.

2002 Trailblazer LS left rear brake light fails to light. Replaced socket assembly and bulbs with a set that works and it still fails to light when brakes are applied

I have the same problem with my 2004 Trailblazer LT. Driver side brake light does not illuminate. All other lights work fine. Replaced bulbs. Still does not illuminate. Cannot figure out which fuse goes to this light. Could it be a fuse?
