Hi i have a 92 honda civic with an after market motor when i rev it up 3000 rpm it starts cutting out and i dont know what is causing it please help me aaron

Could be the rev limiter is kicking in since you don't have it in gear. I have seen vechicles do that before.

Could be the rev limiter kicking in. Some cars the rev limiter keeps you from revving the car up when it is not in gear. The stock motor probably didn't have one, but the after market motor might.

open the engine hood and locate the fuse box of your electronic fusible link, lift the fuse box cover and look for the diagram thats says heater, lift off the fusible link with a long nose plier and see if the center of the link is broken then you may have to purchase one with same amps
