Question about 2004 Volkswagen Jetta
I don't have a manual. So, another question should be, "How do I get one?" But, mostly I'd like to set the driver's seat for the different drivers of the car. I've fooled around with the settings on the set, but I can't get Number 1 to remember the setting.
2004 jetta dies but no prob starting after 20 min then dies after so many miles down the road. It does not repeat this problem when AC not on and weather not hot outside. P.S. it rattles some

Make sure red button is in up position
Move seat all the forward, then all the back with key off to clear the memory
move seat to middle
turn key to on
turn key to off
turn key to on.
Move seat to desired position then hold down button 1 until you hear a chime.
repeat procedure for button 2
