Appears to be the throttle body injector. Shows no continuity thru inj. Is this a valid test? Is there any componet in the circuit that could effect the inj? Have 12 Volts to inj. Pressure about 70 pounds.
Thank you, eebern
I bought a Chilton Book # 28700 for the Geo Metro at Pepboys. I looked at the 1995 Geo Metro wiring diagram and on page 6-37 shows "Y/B" wire which is the yellow/black wire that connects from the fuel injector ( my car has one that shoot gas into the carburator) to the computer of the car located behind the glove compartment. What I did is that from the engine I followed this wire all the way to the ECM ( engine control module or computer). This meant that I had to remove the electric tape and protective skin off from around the bunch of wires and dig thru to follow this Y/B wire. As I got deeper I found that it fused together with another wire. All I did was pull them apart and the car worked normal again. Of course you have to wrap lots of electric tape around it, also the other wire it was fused to, and when finished, just wrap the bunch of wires with the protective skin and electric tape and you should be set to go. Hope this works, good luck!
