Question about 1985 Dodge Ramcharger
Ok we are stuck on this one. This truck will only sputter and act live starved for gas when taking off or asking for power(like slowing down before a hill then asking). It will stop sputtering once you reach 45 mph.
we have changed fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter and the one bad plug. any suggestions on what else. we are very stuck.
Here are a few things to check:
distributor cap to se if it is worn orcracked
check your vacuum pressure
check your timing to see if it is correct
checkyour coil to see if it is working properly or if it is week
check to see if you have a leak at your intake manifold ( gasket )
