Question about 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cabs
01' Ford F-250 Super Duty Diesel/Auto 240,000, runs real good, Drive it down the road makes a noise in tranny, while moving slipped into neutral, no noise. The noise sounds like when the brake shoes are worn out and the rivots are grinding on the rotor but only while moving in drive or reverse, it don't do it in neutral while moving. Today went to put in 4wd and will not go into high or low, lots of grindage, turned the truck off put in gear restartedit seems to be fine except grindage in drive and reverse while moving but not in neutral while moving. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated
Have the transmission rebuilt sounds as if drive gears are wore out.
