Have you checked to see if you are getting fire to the plugs. It might be a fuel problem and not a fire problem. Spray some fuel into the engine and see if it starts if you have fire to the plugs. You may also have a control module in the dist gone bad or the pickup coil in the dist could be bad.

Just replaced my distributer cap and rotor on 1995 gmc sierra v6 1500, Truck ran before that. I know the firing order on the truck and I have the wires in the proper places, but the truck does not want to...

I don't know your problems say like that But I can tell you what to do to check it for good.
first remove spark plug on cylinder 1 place piston on end of compression timing mark to 0. Now you should have the rotor point to number one cylinder. Find wich way the rotor turn and do firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 that's it

I need a diagram for 1994 gmc 1500 4x4 5.7 plug wires at distributor i knw the engines fire order

if you know the firing order, then get #1 on TDC, and then take the cap off, the rotor should be pointing forward, thats where number 1 wire should go.

Rough idle and accelleration in my 89 GMC truck with a 350 TBI

Try a new distributer cap and rotor button, these are notorious for wearing out the carbon pick-ups and leaving carbon tracks in the cap which messes up the fireing order. If that does'nt fix it try plugs and wires.
