I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals.
My brother ( a mechanic) buys when he can't fix some technical issue with the manual at www.reliable-store.com . A lot of mechanics actually do this. Website is very good for this. Must try it !!

SOURCE: 94 geo prism-A/C stopped cooling-fan fine-green AC button not lit

I had the exact same problem with my 95 Geo. It was the AC Compressor, but before you go and get one there are other things you can check first just to be sure it is your compressor. I took it to a mechanic and he made sure that it was none of the fuses, then he hooked up the AC relay switch to the battery directly and you could hear the compressor switch on, that made the green light turn on again. It still wouldn't cool so he manually tried to turn the AC Compressor clutch and it wouldn't buge. So I went to the junkyard pick one up for about $100 and had it switched out. If I had the extra cash I would of paid double for the new one, but it was something I didn't budget for. It cools but not as great as the old one or a new one would.

SOURCE: my ABS light is staying on - 1995 Geo Prism

Your abs light is permanent. Most people don't bother to fix this, it is expensive, and your car is getting old. It means that the anti lock brake system has failed and needs repair. But your brakes still work fine, just don't have anti lock. So I'm not saying tape over the light on the dash, but.

the engine type dictates what wiring car has. (partly)

fix the stuck blinkers first. this implies, either ignition switch failure

or gross wiring errors, hacks gone wrong.

the key swtich does turn off blinker power feed.

Was told to use premium 89 octane gas only this true?

This is true. The only time you need to apply gasoline with higher octane is when preignition is present. If it sounds like marbles are bouncing in your engine when you are driving then get higher octane. However if the car is in good mechanical condition (cooling system, oil serviced regularly) then 89 octane is perfect.

What type of oil is recomended by the manufacturer for a 1991 pontiac firebird with a 3.1 V6 with over 200,000 miles in it? Also what type of fuel is best for the vehicle 87, 89, or 93 gas. Thanks

GM will not make a recommendation for a car with 200,000 miles-when new, it probably called for 10w30, and if it does not smoke you could stay with that. If it does smoke, you might consider going to a heavier weight like 15W-40 or 20W-50, but be careful if you live in a cold climate-20W-50 especially.

For gas, if it does not knock, use 87, using higher octane will only waste money.

What grade is gas is good for 1999 toyota camry

Hello, and welcome to FixYa.
Please allow me to assist you with your question.

The 1999 Camry can run on any grade of octane, 87, 89, 91, 93 or 94. However, it will run best on 89 octane. That is what I use in my Camry, and it is also recommended to our service customers in our shop. You can safely use 91, 93 or 94, but those higher grades really will get you no better results; as the engine is not designed for that octane. It will run normally, on the higher octanes, but keep in mind that it will not run any 'better'.
You may have heard in the past that people 'treat' their car to a tank of 'premium'. That really serves no good purpose. All that does is costs you more money for a tankful, so adding premium at random intervals is not recommended.

I hope that this answers your question.
Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance.
