Yes I have the same problem, the key won't come out of the ignition until the voltage drops to a certain level on the battery or it is unplugged, it will not start in park. Is there a relay that is affected by the loss of voltage that let's a servo go at the ignition allowing the key to be removed? I replaced the brake light switch thinking that was the case - you have to step on the brakes to remove the key.
I took out the plug on the top of the J Gate and put a screw driver there to move it to Nuetral and it starts.

Disconected the battery to do some welding.. reconected the battery and the car wont turn over,.it apears that the theft system is activated

you should always disconnect both batteries in a hybrid, also you need to unhook the pcm and dc converter. very good chance you could have fried the pcm, you can try having the keys reprogrammed and see if that works

Key fob wont open doors or switch my imobisler of to start car even with new batteries

Sound like a re-programed is necessary, I suggest check in the owners manual about the right procedure and try to ask at dealer. If this is one aftermark alarm, try disconected the battery and re connected after few minutes.

Keep us updated.

The brake lights switch is located on, or activated by the brake pedal.

Seems it needs to be adjusted or replaced.

key code lock out usually happens when you have entered the wrong code too many times leaving the battery connected should allow the timer to run down for 30 mins so you can try again, it is cumulative though so the more you get it wrong the longer you have to wait. make sure battery is fully charged first.

dear friend-when your vehicle wont rev it means that it went into limp mode and by disconnecting the battery you reset the ecu and will appear ok till the faulty sensor comes up again, have a dianostic test carried out to sole, previble when in limp mode.

Someone put the wrong key (resistor value) in the ignition lock, you will have to disconect the battery for 3 min. Make sure you have the right key. Very important! Make sure the climate control is off before disconecting/conecting the battery.
