Question about 2002 Chrysler 300M
After starting car and putting it in drive it won't move. It will neither go forward or reverse. Tried it again later and it moved. Left it for a while and AGAIN it wouldn't go forward or reverse.
The Chrysler peeps have had it for four days now and don't have a clue what's wrong with it.
Ok... check your transmissino dip stick to see if the fluid level is regeresting on the dip stick. now this IS WHAT A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT KNOW.......NEVER I MEAN ....NEVER CHECK THE TRANSMISSION DIP STICK WHEN THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING, ITS OK TO CHECK YOUR OIL DIP STICK WHEN THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING.BUT YOUR TRANS IS DIFFERENT...... heres what you do...... START YOUR CAR...THEN PUT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ON ...THEN PUT THE CAR IN NUTURAL....... NOW YOU WILL GET A REANING ON YOUR DIP STICK IFITS LOW THEN ADD FLUID.. REMEMBER ALWAYS CHECK THE TRANEE IN NUTERAL THE BRAKES ON AND THE CAR RUNNING.....HOPE THIS HELPS. GOOD LUCK...........
