Have no dash lights on my 2006 jeep liberty renagade my manual does not show a fuse for the dashlights

dear linda
car drives ok? (shoe on other foot drops. omg)
head lamps work, park lamps, turns ,brake, reverse?
wiring is complex,
rule 1, on all complex systems, like this
there is not one fuse for every load on the system.!
takes 100's fuse or more to do that,
rule2, most fuse(not all) are shared, so names based
on say the most common of 10 things off 1 fuse.
say park lamps.
I have no IDEA at alllwhat DASH lamps means.???????????
can you be just a bit more specific,. keep in mind we are blind here.

the cluster is an object,(coin toss 1)
it has many warning lamps.,inside, CEL is top lamp to glow.
CEL glows engine can run.
most warning lamps glow, key on. you have NONE?
then the cluster has background lamps. that glow in park or headlamp on mode and have a dimmer, that can be set wrong.
in shop lacking the book or the online book
one has 2 choices. (look for blown fuses, (all) or test them (ALL)
lacking books, what other why can there be.

cluster power
is JB 13 and 34 fuses. (or JB F9 ,park)
JB means cab box.

the cluster is a data monitor
that gets date from a network.
the park relay dead kills the cluster back ground illumination .

tell more get more...??? even photos of dead lamps is amazing.

I have Isuzu dmax it has a problem with starting In the morning it starts good when the glow plugs come on but after it has parked for 2 or3 hours it has to crank for about 3 min before the engine will...

what is the VIN
what is true engine name, gas or diesel and size.
what country. (tells me fueling systems)
did you check all fuses, i bet you dont know how to really test glow plugs only the see a light glow is not going to work.
so are glow plugs really working, proper voltage at them and right current flow (a meter works here, amps , using amp clamp)
filters clean.
scan it?

Hi all i have a renault trafic 2006 turbo on the dashboard show me a glow plug lit symbol it doesn't off what can i do to make it off?

Pull out the fuse from fuse block. Wait for a few minutes then put it back in turn on key after one minute.it should go off. Do not start the motor it's telling you that it is still hot. If the light doesn't go off you have a bad glow plug. Replacement is needed to fix this problem.

Car won't start

wont crank
or
wont start.? (but cranks robustly)
fuse warning? no , we check fuse, we never pray the PCM /BCM
will never warn us, because"they dont check them all"
why not post the full symptoms.????
I key on, what happens?, do the warning lamps all glow like the operators manual says? (NO?, fuse blown , fact !)
CEL glows (check engine light glow, ) if CEL is dead so is PCM. (fuse again.)
Do the head lights work , key off (fix that first) ( no? fuse or battery dead)
when you turn the key to start, does the starter motor crank fast?
if not fix that first. (wiggle shifter or try , neutral starts)
if yes crankes, then check for spark.? (google that.)_
if it dont start, i hook up my scan tool ($200 tool) that sees all Jeep codes (key fact that) and then crank for 5 seconds, amazing, it can
tell me, why the ASD dropped out. Sure can.
if the IMMO lamp sticks on, bingo, it will never run.

here is a good ASD page

I have a 1994 GMC Sierra 6.5 turbo diesel and sometimes won't start or when running a at any speed will stop. I have changed the glow plug selenoide and the glow plugs and still got the problem. is normal...

First off the glow plugs are not the problem. Diesel's run purely off of compression. The basic principle behind them is compress the gas and and it will "spontaneously" ignite as long an the cylinder is hot. All glow plugs do is provide the initial heat that is needed. Once it is started they shut off. If you turn your engine off for a little while and then crank it back up, the glow plugs won't come back on as long as the engine is still warm. So now onto the actual problem. You have a FSD (Fuel Supply Driver) also known as a PMD (Pump Mounted Driver) that is failing. It tells the fuel injection pump when and where to deliver fuel. When they start going bad you will notice hestitation, to random stalls (usually when hot) to no-start situations. There is a forum I found which goes into much greater detail about it and how to fix it and help prevent it from happening again. CHeck it out. 6 5 NEWBIES START HERE

No power to coolant glow plugs

the glow plugs won't come on until the temp is 0 degrees F. the reason you have no heat is the water pump impellor is broken off the inside of the pump. replace the pump and timing belt at the same time. approx 600. to 700. dollars.

Changing glow plugs in a 1997 1.8 ford escort diesel van

Hi Patrick.

I would check that you are getting a live feed to your glow plugs terminals first, on cold starting, with a 12v test light.

Expensive to renew them, and then find it was the fuse or relay !

Best of luck !
John.
