Question about 2006 BMW 5 Series

1 Answer

PASSENGER SEATS Just got my husband to buy me the X5 I wanted for daily use. Went to buy some items from Ikea and could not figure out how to fully lower the passenger seat. Is this not an option or did I just fell in the BMW twilight zone? I love the electric motor action but do not know how to completely lower the back seat to put in large cargo.

Are you referring to the front pass. seat, or the back seats? Do you have 3 row seating?

Bmw x5 2008 - fuse box diagram

A 2008 BMW X5 has 2 different possibilities as thas it a split year. It can have 2 different fuse box setup based on if the vehicle was made before or after 11-2008. You can look on the driver or passenger door jamb for a factory production sticker with the exact production date. ALso a power distribution box should exist under the hood. Here is images of the passenger compartment fuse box and each fuse for both options that year.

I want to convert my 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD from 7 passenger to 8 passenger. How do I do it?

I don't think you can. I owned a 07 EL 8 passenger, now i own a 08 EL 7 passenger and the floor hooks for the seats are located differently (the 8 passenger has an extra hook, if I remember correctly), so i don't think its possible, look at your manual and only shows how to move the seats.

Backseat belt wont budge

there is probably something foreign that got wound up around the reel the last time the belt retracted. I have succesfully removed such an item (mine happened to be a long plastic balloon string) but it took forever and I remember a lot of foul language involved... you can also just buy a new one and change it.
