Question about 1990 Toyota Celica
I was driving and my hood started smoking, i popped the hood and a chassy ground wire, by the starter, burnt itself out. we rigged another one on to see it it would burn up again and it did later that day and now my auto transmission wont shift. it will start and and go in idle speed but when i press down the accelerator my rpm's rev up but it wont go any faster. ANY CLUE???
Strip out auto box and fit a manual gearbox ,this is an expensive repair by the sound of it,is it a manual pump in the box?? or has it had an electric one built in to keep the pressure up as i have seen this on *** cars ,good job not many autos in spain ,macho men here only old men from northern europe buy an auto and they are very expensive and difficult to get
