Short to power. Could be as easy as just pulling a fuse and reinsert it. Sometimes you have to access the plug and do they same thing. Sometimes you have to fix or replace the plug. If your display is the radio, It could be internal radio problems..
You have 3 wires to the alternator. The black/gray wire goes to the fuse panel to the ignition. The dark green/ orange wire goes to the engine controls system. The third wire dark green goes to the powertrain control module. The red and black/gray are tied together from battery to the alternator as well the ignition switch to make a circuit. Hope this will help you.
Have the charging system load tested and make sure the alternator is charging. If this is good then you will have to check for a draw.If you have anything that is staying on and draining the battery or if you have something plugged into the accessory plug that could be draining the battery. You can check for a draw with a multimeter but this is a little more complicated if you are not familiar with this process.Hope this helps.Good luck.
I had a similar problem with a tractor.(yeh ha ha)A shot in the dark but mine was the glow plug relay. It wasn't working properly and didn't stay on long enough to start the engine. This may not be your problem, but? Worth a look.Hope this helps.(from qld)
