2000 alero wont start

2000 alero wont start without a jump. When i turn the key there is nothing no sound at all, it will jump start easy but wont start agsin without another jump. The battery is good had it checked, it also made a strange cliking sound for a short time after it was turned off and there are no lights, radio or anything untill I get it it satrted.

You should have you altenator checked most local parts stores will do it for free

Sounds like you need an alternator because its not keeping your battery charged.

u may need to scrape your battery posts or you may need a new battery
