Where can I find a wiring schematic for the power windows in an 89 Cherokee 4 door?

the schematics are (real) are rear, FSM has it.
why not use the best source first.
my online source is down this mornning... later for sure.

got power to the switches?
all windows dead.? up and down.?
usually the switch grounds the motor and it moves.
so power to the switch is key, as are FUSEs and on many cars
the windows use Circuit breakers, so that fuses dont blow with iced up windows.,.... by design....

I have an 89 honda accord Lxi I recently replaced a battery fuse and wwhen I reconnected the battery the fuse started smoking and trying to melt why is this hapoening

Sounds like you have a dead short on that circuit. Make sure battery is not being hooked up backwards. Now you will need a wiring diagram to see what all that fuse powers.

I have a 87 Honda accord lxi. There is power under the hood but when I go to start it no power to dash radio clock or anything what could this be?

Actually this could be many things, including blown fuses. My guess is, though, your ignition may not be activating. Being an 89, this means even your key could be pretty worn. Verify the ignition is functioning. That is where to start.

Aftermarket stereo won t power on

you blew the fuse
check the fuses to radio, can be 2 or more.
1 in fuse box.
2 in radio, (some have 1 , and others have 2 or 3 more in side radio)
anything is possible with aftermarket, radios, 10,000 models, vast years. Ive repaired many. (ET)

the radio has a red wire, usually for power,
most radios have 3 power wires,
1 for rad ( this one dead) use a volt meter here.12v key on.
1 for dial
2 for memory

NO taillites, no brake lites, no door locks, no power to windows, no ability to move "Park" lever and all small fuses in fuse box are good

sound like dead battery or corroded cables.check see if battery has 12.5 volts.if not battery dead.

It is likely that the lock cylinder is just worn out. Since your car is fairly old this is the most likely cause of your problem. Another thing that it could be is your key. If it is worn it might be causing it to not turn. You might try getting a new key made.

89 Accord LXI Idle problems

It's fuel infected and it has a vacuum leak, most likely a PCV valve that is stuck open, I've seen a few now. Replace the PCV valve 1st, if that doesn't fix it, start looking for a hose that has come off.

89 accord LXI clutch change out

hi if you have worked on cars before and know a fair bit of what you are doing fine but be warned if you have not then this is not the sort of job you want to be tacklng as it is ackward you need to be strong enough to lift the box in and out and its not just the wieght they need balancing its a messy job if you don,t know what you are doing and its not a small job and if you get it wrong then its a lot of work to do twice not to mention if you don,t get it right it can be expensive best of luck whatever you decide on yates210456
