Hi i have a 96 plymouth voyager van that has jus stalled out on me after running great for so long evrythng is basically updated on it and after two mechanics has lookd at it they cant seem to figure it out. everything has been checkd n replaced n still kno change its running rugged but does start just dnt stay running any suggestions

wipe the dip stick off and add fluid a pint at a time while car is running ,be sure not to overfill .this could cause other problems.the fluid should be up on the stick approximately 1.5 inches to 2.
The very 1st thing that must be done here to start diagnosis of this problem is to have the PCM (powertrian control module) scanned for fault codes, that is key to fixing this right first time. In most area's Autozone and O'reilly auto parts do this test for free (except California).
trans is shot very common problem you can rebuid it but thats not cheap finding a used one will be very difficult as 96 is a one year only model and there where 2 within that year depending on the buid date of the van
