Question about Hyundai Santa Fe
You say the mirror has fallen off 4 times? I'm curious as to how you re-affixed the mirror to the windshield those 4 times. I've had this happen to me with different vehicles and I've always had positive results with "J-B Weld" ask for the "Kwik" curing type, you can purchase it at your local hardware store. This is an epoxy product used by mixing 2 substances together; you have 4 minutes to mix and apply. Just follow the directions you'll be just fine. The windshield will fall off before the mirror falls off again. One technical note and that is to clean all surfaces that will come in contact with the epoxy with alcohol or acetone and make sure all the old glue from the other 4 times has been removed. You might even want to "ruff-up" or scrape the mirror frame surface that will be attached to the windshield, for the 5th time, to ensure the epoxy adhears in the best possible way. If the old glue is hard to remove from the surfaces try using acetone which is also good for the cleanup. You'll find that the J-B Weld is a great product that can be used to repair practically anything... I never leave home without it.
