Question about 1999 Jeep Cherokee
Check all your fuses here a great diagram http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Electrical/1997_UP_Fuse_Identification.htm
I hope that might help. The speed sensor is located under the vehicle on the driverside. It faces towards out towards the outside of the vehicle and is located on the transfer case. You can take it out, a little oil might spill out thats okay. check that and clean it up a little bit. This might help for a while but I would take it to a mechanic.
