The sizes of wenches and sockets or any special tools required to pull the starter off of a 84 mercury grand marquis v.8

Hi Troy:
Sounds as if you need the help of a buddy with a tool kit and some experience. It's a great learning experience.

May I suggest that before you start taking things apart, you get that experienced friend to assist in making sure that you have identified the problem that needs repair.

I keep getting a p0300 code on my jeep patriot 08 the codes willnot cleear and car is running fine . Is there a way to check the plug on coils any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check your fuel pressure. A bad FP regulator or bad fuel pump/fuel pump wiring or fuel pump relay can give you random misfire problems.

Quick disconnect tool is not helpful on disconnecting fuel line from fuel filter on 92 F 150 w/4.9L

there are a few different tools and some work well and others just plain ****. Patience is the key sometimes with poor quality tools. If yo have the multi quick dis connect tool that is like the swiss army knife of quick disconnect tools, thats the worst one.
My neighbor had trouble with a quick disconnect fitting and came to get me. when I got in his garage he said "here's the tool." I threw it in the trash and came back to get my set of quick disconnects. It tool me longer to open the case, get the tool out and put it back than the time it took to undo the connection.

Bolt broke off in cranksaft how would i go about getting it out

Go to your local tool store or Sears and get a set of "easy outs".
Basically a reversed looking drill bit tool that grabs the broken section.
Good luck...

Engine will not crank. Battery is good Starter is good. When I turn the ignition nothing happens.i am not getting any power to close the starter solenoid. I can switch the vehicle on and use a jumper wire...

Be sure this car doesn't have a starter relay, you can can purchase a cd repair manual on ebay motors that has a electrical component locate in the software, this is a valuable tool to have, great deal for the $20.00. Hopefully this is not an ignition switch they are a pain to do you will need a steering wheel puller amongst other tools not commonly found in the laymans tool chest such as metric torx wrenches etc. check the replace the starter relay first if warranted then do the ignition switch be sure to check all fuses in the fuse block located in engine compartment if equipped.
