I suspect you somehow lost the antitheft coding to your car Keys. Need to reporgram your keys to antitheft module.

How to reset fule shutoff switch?

Then replace the exhaust converter

They only last 12 to 14 years,that won't stop
the car from starting

You have to be in an accident for the fuel shut
off switch to open

2003 chevy impala, turning the key on, you hear the fule pump clicking on , lights all coming on like normal, but go to start, nothing happens, battery ok, starter ok, the garage changed the ignition ...

That would be a good place to start , I would check it with a test light first but If you do that and it starts sounds like switch or connector terminals and or starter relay in fuse box

Engine wont start when cold but after starting with starting fluid runs fine

The heat might have melted or damaged your main relay. Does it turn over or try to start, or does the lights simply come on and it does nothing?

the fule is running back to the fule tank when the engine is not running,,,look around for a "one way fule pipe velve" and fit it in the fule line close to the engine,,,that will put a stop to that,,,

My 2000 Oldsmobile Alero does not start. It cranks fine, has a new battery, new spark plugs, and I can hear the fuel pump working. I was thinking of checking the fuel filter next. Much help needed

check for a good spark first, if there is none look at ignition circuits its more likley this part,
it could also be the car alarm the immobiliser shutting of the ignition ""stops it getting nicked?"
try resetting the alarm if you take off pipe to carb and there is fule pumping out!!! fule filter is "ok" for starting up on!!! take care working with fule!

Fuel pump relay

If this happens every time you start your truck and it shuts off the same each time, you just might have a dirty fuel filter only allowing so much gas pass through until it clogs once again. I once had a chevy van, when I would drive it, would go a few miles and engine would shut down.   I would wait 10 or 15 minutes, it would start up and allow me to drive a few more miles then shut down again.  I changed the fuel filter, It was fine after that.
