Question about 2005 Chevrolet Aveo
First it was my key that was stuck. So we took the cover off of the shift knob and found the problem. It was this botton thing, when you put the car in park it pushes this thing that released the key. Well something had chipped off that so it didn't work anymore. Now, after finding that, my car won't go into gear. I have to physically push the shift lock release button to put my car in gear. So, now my key is stuck in the ignition, and my shift lock release button won't work on it's own.
I got same problem when I first got the car (bought used), took me a day to find out one of the fuse blown caused the problem now I always have 10A fuse spare in my glove comparment, check all your fuses (I believe it's an Audio/Clock 10A fuse) will solve your, good luck ...
