Should just be a philips screw
You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

I have a 2002 pontiac grand prix doesn't blow any

      • 1 Start the engine of the car and allow it to run for a few minutes. Adjust the climate controls. If they do not feel right, then the problem is probably in the control panel. If the controls feel fine, but have no effect on the air then it is probably a blown fuse. If you cannot hear the accompanying blowing sound when the air is turned from low to high, then the problem is in the blower motor.
      • 2 Disconnect the black negative battery cable first when looking for the blower motor. Remove the trim panel and unplug the electrical connectors from the blower motor. Unscrew the retaining screws and remove the blower motor and fan.
      • 3 Check the control panel next. Disconnect the negative battery cable first. Remove the screws securing the cluster trim plate to the instrument panel and tilt the top of the cluster trim plate downward releasing the clips that mount the bottom of the trim plate to the dash.
      • 4 Remove the trim plate. Remove the screws attaching the accessory trim center plate to the dash. Tilt the top of the accessory trim plate downward releasing the clips that mount the bottom of the plate to the instrument panel.
      • 5 Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws attaching the control assembly to the dash. Remove the control assembly from the dash. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the control assembly.
      • 6 Replace a blown fuse in your Grand Am easily. There are two interior fuse boxes in Grand Am, but the right fuse will be found on the passenger side. Open the door and pry off the side panel to the right of the dashboard. Use the guide on the inside of the panel to find the right fuse.

How do you remove a back door panel on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT to fix a window that has fallen off the track?

remove the door handle screws, and possibly the armrest has some screws hidden under dimples. then remove door handles from metal linkage and use a small putty knife or flat screwdriver and gently pop the door panel loose from the door. there are little press in plastic tabs that are connected to the door panels that just pop out of the holes on the doors , if you be careful and wedge away from the door with the screwdriver

How to replace Inside Rear View Mirror on 2000

Hello, to replace the rear mirror, try the following:

    1. Roll the passenger side door window all the way down. Turn off the ignition and remove the keys.

    2. Gently pry the window control panel from the arm rest with the pry tool or screwdriver starting at the bottom of the panel. Flip it over and unplug all the wire harness outlets from it. Set the panel aside.

    3. Locate and remove the two panel door plugs near the arm rest concealing the two screws and remove the screws with the Phillips head screwdriver.

    4. Remove the door panel retainer plugs along the edge of the door by pressing in the middle of the plug to unlock it and removing the plug.

    5. Detach the mounting triangle from the upper inside door panel covering the side-view mirror.

    6. Remove the door panel by lifting outward and then upward. Disconnect the speaker wire harness from the underside of the door panel and set the door panel aside.

How would i remove a left door panel on my mazda protege5?

If its a front door, you need to pop off the little panel inside of the mirror area. The there are several plastic clips that you pop out with screwdriver. There may be one with a philips head that can be unscrewed. Next you remove 2 or 3 screws from the door handle. Door handle has one side (usually front) that pops out first after screws are out. There may be 2 more screws under door handle if its a front door, not on rear door. Then you use a large screwdriver and pop out bottom sections of door and slide panel up to release the 2 locator pins on the top side of the door panel. These instructions are for 2001 Protege so it should be same for your car.

Front passenger window not working. Need instructions to remove door panel to access window motor.

It could be as simple as a fuze...or your power window switch needs to be cleaned.

    If not

there should be screws located inside the handle and other areas on the door panel, undo all those first,
The door panel itself is held on with plastic clips, you can use a flat head screwdriver and gently start at the bottom of the panel/door and work your way around the door undoing all the plastic clips by pulling gentle.
Dont forget to unscrew your power window switch and unplug when removing the panel

Im trying to replace the driver side mirror on my 08 grand prix, how do i go by dissasembling the door panel to fix this. is their any particular tool that would be good to use?

Just a screwdriver and a socket / wrench is all I use
On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
