1999 Pontiac Bonneville - no electric

There is no electric to any part of my Bonneville, dash or ignition. Is there a fuseable link or relay that controls the entire car

    I have no electric to any part of the car. If i wait a while I while I can hear clicking coming from the passenger side fuse block and some dim interior lights

Check the main wire going to the starter.

idk if the first post posted so im going to try again. trace your wires throu the firewall and see where they go. then pull that relay and test for live wires. if the ciruit is hot and the relay isnt pushing anything. you found your problem. also check headlight relay. may run ignition switch.

Are you talking about the ignition switch or the key cylinder? The ignition switch is on the steering column under the dash. Changing the key cylinder requires the removal of the steering wheel.

check your fuseable links and your electrical ignition switch wear where your key turns and moves the rod to move the switch on the steering column under the dash

My 1999 Pontiac Bonneville will not start. When


The security system has been activated call the dealer to getthe deatils on how to reset it, normally you pull the security fuse for 30 seconds to restet it. if that does not work call the dealer and they can help you.

Need to know where the signal light flasher is on a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville


Under The Drivers Side Dash You May Have To Remove The Panel To Gain Access. Make Sure You Buy A New One So You Know Exactly What Your Looking For. It will look like a little silver canister if the relay hasn't died all the way then turn on your blinker and it will click, that makes it a lot easier to find if it still clicks.
